Theta Beta Chapter at USF
The Theta Beta chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity was founded on March 3, 1979 at the University of South Florida located in Tampa, Florida. Since receiving our charter, Sigma Chi has been a symbol of leadership on the USF campus and we are extremely proud of the dedication and hard work devoted to this chapter, for more than three decades now.
At USF, the Sigma Chi Fraternity not only provides leadership and value based guidance, but also helps young men earn an education through various scholarship programs. In addition to rewarding members with financial assistance, the Theta Beta chapter reaches out beyond the walls of its house and into the community through participation in philanthropic and community service initiatives.
Sigma Chi brothers strive for excellence in every area, including at the field or on the court. Every year USF Sigma Chi competes in every intramural sport scheduled. Among the chapter’s many achievements, are various IM sports championships as the Sigs at USF compete regularly for the yearly Fraternity League Championship.
