Theta Beta 1855 Club FAQ
Q: What is the money used for?
A: The money that you donate to our chapter will go towards:
(1) Repayment of a $25,000 loan used to start construction of our house
(2) Much needed fence for our yard
(3) Furniture and equipment for the house
(4) Recruitment opportunities
Theta Beta 1855 Club contributions will not go towards such things as payments to Risk Management Foundation (insurance), parties, or “beer money,” as these types of expenses are generally funded by dues collected from the actives.
Q: Can I cancel monthly donations?
A: Yes. Monthly donations can be put on hold temporarily or completely canceled right away.
Q: Can I make a single, lump-sum payment instead of monthly drafts?
A: Yes you can, and you have 2 options to do so:
(1) You may make a one-time contribution with a credit card payment. Just click on the “Donation” link on the 1855 Club page.
(2) You can pay by check by sending a check for the annual amount to:

Q: Can I pay with a credit card?
A; Yes, contributions may now be made using any major credit card. All you need is a PayPal account. Simply click on the “Donation” link on the 1855 Club page to donate.
Q: Are my contributions tax-deductible?
A: The USF Foundation, a non-profit corporation, will be the conduit for donations to the House. All donations will be tax deductible.
